The short answer
Smithey doesn't publish public coupon codes. Offers and any codes we share go to people who sign up for our emails and texts. We hold just a few sales each year, typically around the holidays, plus occasional Factory Seconds sales. The best way to hear about them first is to join our newsletter using the sign-up form at the bottom of any page on smithey.mom.
Why Smithey rarely goes on sale
If you've searched for a Smithey coupon code and come up empty, that's by design: offers go straight to subscribers. We'd rather keep our cast iron and carbon steel fairly priced year-round than run constant promotions.
Our cookware is designed and crafted by our team on an old Naval Base in Charleston, South Carolina. We grind and polish the cooking surface of every cast iron piece in our workshop, then pre-season it with grapeseed oil so it's ready to use on day one.
We build cookware meant to be passed down, not replaced. When we do hold a sale, it's a genuine occasion.
When Smithey has sales
Smithey runs only a few sales a year, and they usually land around the holidays. That's when most people are shopping for gifts, and when a skillet or Dutch oven becomes a present someone will cook with for decades.
These sales are short and announced to our subscribers first. Popular pieces can sell out, so the earlier you hear about a sale, the better your odds of getting the piece you want.
Factory Seconds sales
From time to time, we also hold a Factory Seconds sale. Factory Seconds may have small cosmetic or seasoning imperfections that don't affect how your Smithey cooks in any way, and they're specially priced for the sale.
Before you shop a Seconds sale
- All Factory Seconds sales are final, with no returns or exchanges.
- Other discounts and promo codes can't be applied to Factory Seconds.
- Quantities are extremely limited, and items in your cart aren't guaranteed until checkout is complete.
- Factory Seconds pieces can still be engraved.
